Built by Engineers Who Work on Wet Grinding Every Day
This page is not about our history. It is the checklist every machine has to pass before we release it — because that is the only answer to "can you actually deliver?" that is worth anything.
What we do
NanoBeadMill designs and delivers wet grinding and dispersion systems — from laboratory mills to full production lines.
We are not a machine directory. We do not list every mill available and let you sort it out. We take your material, your target and your throughput, and we specify the machine that gets you there — then we test it before it leaves.
What every machine has to pass before we release it
We do not rely on the customer to find problems. Every unit is checked against the same list, and the report goes with the machine.
- No-load run — 2 hours minimum
- Loaded run with test fluid — 4 hours minimum
- Bearing temperature rise — measured and signed off
- Mechanical seal leak test
- Chamber pressure test — held and leak-down recorded
- Separator check — no media carry-over
- Control system and interlocks verified
- Particle size verification where a customer sample is available
- Full test report issued and archived
- Report accompanies the machine; a sample copy is available on request.
How we work
1. We start with the material, not the machine Tell us what you are grinding, where it needs to end up, and at what rate. Everything else follows from those three answers.
2. Free grinding test Send us 1 kg. We run it on a laboratory mill under controlled conditions and send you the full particle size distribution. If we cannot reach your target, we tell you so rather than overselling a machine.
3. We specify, then we quote Chamber volume, media size and material, tip speed, separator type, materials of construction, cooling capacity, control system. You get a specification, not just a price.
4. Run-tested before shipment Every unit is run under load before it ships. You receive the test report — no-load run, loaded run, temperature rise, seal integrity, and a particle size check where a sample is available.
5. Commissioning and aftersales Installation supervision, operator training, and spare parts held in stock. Remote support by video when a site visit is not practical.
Machines are run-tested before they ship, not after
Assembly and run-test happen on dedicated lines, against the checklist above. The test report travels with the machine, so the first time it runs at your plant is not the first time it has run at all — you have the sheet from the day it was signed off.
Signed test report
Every unit ships with the run-test sheet: no-load run, loaded run, temperature rise, seal check, separator check. Ask for a copy of a previous one before you order.
Specification, not a model number
Chamber volume, media size and material, tip speed, separator type, wetted materials, cooling capacity and control system are fixed in writing before the build starts.
Spare parts held
Wear parts and grinding media are held in stock, so a torn screen or a broken seal does not stop your line for a month.
Certifications and compliance
- CE — machinery supplied with CE declaration of conformity
- ATEX / explosion-proof — available for solvent-based and flammable applications
- Material traceability — wetted-part material certificates available for pharma and food-contact applications
Global service
- Spare parts — wear parts and media are held against your machine's specification; dispatch time is confirmed when you order the part, not guessed in advance
- Remote support — video diagnosis and guidance, answered within one working day
- On-site support — commissioning and operator training available; terms quoted per project
- Operator training — included with every production machine
A note on how we talk about price
We will quote you a specification, not just a number. If your target fineness is higher than your application needs, we will say so — finer is not better, and in pigments it often means weaker colour. If a cheaper configuration will do the job, we would rather sell you that and keep the next order.
Ask for a sample inspection record.
We will send one — an anonymised factory test report showing what we actually check. It is more useful than any certificate scan.
